My muffled voice was an important aspect of the piece. At one point, I had considered amplifying my voice through the device, but the amplification would have included altering my voice to the point that you would have been hearing sounds rather than words [like how you only see the shapes in my handwriting].
I was disappointed that the audience didn't try to interact with the space more.
Friends announced their presence to the socialite me and ignored my existence as an art object. This proved to be the equivalent of a cell phone ringing during the symphony.
